The Periodontal Center is dedicated to providing comprehensive care in a patient-focused environment. We are a privately owned practice with offices in Hudson and Woodbury. Our practice is growing, and we are currently looking for an energetic, skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. We have both full-time and part-time hours available (Monday-Friday, no evenings or weekends). Full-time includes a 32-hour/week schedule (4 day/week). Part-time schedules can be flexible.
As a dental hygienist you will work with patients to improve their oral health by performing preventative dental care, recommending care plans, and educating patients about proper teeth cleaning techniques. Our state-of-the-art technology allows our dental hygienists to provide the most current and effective care for our patients. Our hygienists make a difference in their patients' lives.
Responsibilities include:
Perform thorough periodontal assessments and screenings
Conduct scaling and root planing procedures to treat gum disease
Administer local anesthesia and provide pain management as needed
Educate patients on the importance of periodontal health and proper oral hygiene techniques
Collaborate with the treatment team to develop customized periodontal treatment plans
Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation
Qualifications:
Valid Dental Hygienist license in MN and/or WI
Graduation from an accredited dental hygienist program
Proficiency in periodontal assessment techniques and treatment protocols
Excellent communication skills and patient education skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
The Periodontal Center offers a competitive salary (commensurate with experience) and benefits package. Team members receive 3 performance reviews during their first year of employment: annually, thereafter. Pay increases are based on merit. Full-time positions work 32 hours per week (4 days) or 36 hours per week (4.5 days). Part-time schedules can be flexible. Our office hours are Monday-Thursday, 7:30-4:30, and Fridays, 7:30-4:00.
