Job Description:
We are seeking software engineers who excel in collaborative, fast-paced environments. Ideal candidates will have a background in computer science or a related field, with practical experience in enterprise settings. Proficiency in Go or Java and/or modern web frameworks (such as React, NodeJS, Spring, Ruby) is essential. Candidates should thrive in agile teams, be passionate about personal and team development, and have a strong commitment to growth.
Desired Experience:
- Familiarity with container frameworks.
- Knowledge of security implementations (e.g., TLS/PKI, OAuth 2.0).
- Experience with messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Database knowledge (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL).
- Experience in constructing and implementing monitoring, management, observability, and log aggregation systems.
- Demonstrated experience with microservices architectures and a combination of on-premise and cloud-native deployments.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Design and implement software following coding guidelines to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Evaluate and test software, including your own, from other engineers, and third-party sources.
- Provide technical documentation for software design, implementation, and testing.
- Participate in design reviews to adhere to development procedures.
- Document and resolve software errors.
- Pursue professional growth through educational programs, literature, and workshops.
- Collaborate with multi-functional project teams on Product Engineering projects with minimal guidance.
- Build strong interpersonal relationships with peers and team members.
- Utilize source code management tools (e.g., GitHub) and work tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- At least 5 years of experience in Research & Development roles, with increasing responsibility.
- Preferred experience in agile development environments.
- Experience in healthcare environments is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud-based technologies (e.g., AWS, GCF, Azure) is preferred.
- Knowledge of REST architecture preferred.
- Experience with RPC protocols is a plus.
- Experience with container orchestration frameworks (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift) is preferred.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Pulumi) is preferred.
- Experience with various database implementations (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server, non-relational databases) is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong written and oral communication skills are required; experience interacting with global teams is a plus.
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Strong customer/client orientation.
- Demonstrated critical thinking ability.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% (domestic and international).
