Title: Mechanical (PVT) Engineer
Location: Louisville, KY
Shift: 1st, M-F
Pay: $30hrly-$38hrly
Day-to-Day:
Insight Global is currently seeking a PVT Engineer for a 6-month contract to hire with a large automobile manufacturer here in Louisville, KY. The pay rate for this position will be between $30-$40/hr. This individual will be a part of a fast paced team that deals heavy in absorbing information in effort to reduce variability at the component and system level. This individual will be responsible for reviewing warranty claims, reviewing customer/dealership comments, root cause analyses, and developing permanent corrective actions. Other duties include stop ship/stop builds, audits, campaigns, and other related quality tasks. We are seeking a highly motivated self-starter who can excel and maintain resilience in a constantly evolving environment, with a desire to grow within one of the nation's most esteemed companies!
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Engineering Degree (mechanical/electrical preferred)
- 1-2 years' experience in a manufacturing/production/industrial setting (automotive highly preferred)
- Programming experience (CAN bus or similar)
- Great communication/self-starter/problem solver
