Maintenance Scheduler
Client: Refinery
Location: El Dorado, AR
Duration: 1 year could go long term

Willing to train a Planner to become a Scheduler
Job Responsibilities:
- Interact directly with operations and planners to assist in the development of schedules using Primavera (P6) scheduling tool or equivalent
- Work directly with operation, planning, and execution coordinator to assist in the following:
- Select work that will go into planning backlog
- Develop weekly schedules and long-term (2 -4 weeks) schedules for each specific craft based on available resources
- Identify key milestones and critical path activities
- Verify jobs are not scheduled until materials available
- Meet daily with execution resources to update overall schedule
- Issue new schedule at the end of each week
- Analyze overall work progress impacts on schedule
- Analyze any approved added work/scope on overall schedule
- Track resource compliance and utilization targets
- Verify no additional work added to schedule unless compliant with Work Management procedures
Qualifications and Skills for Success:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the petrochemical industry (preferred)
- Turnaround or Maintenance Experience
