Job Summary:
Seeking a Project Controls Analyst to support the schedule and cost control efforts for projects in West Texas. Experience in oil and gas, or relevant construction capital projects is required.
***looking for strong experience with cost controls and scheduling, O&G experience highly preferred (specifically Midstream).
Qualifications:
· Five (5) or more years of relevant work experience with upstream or midstream capital projects; other industrial construction acceptable.
· Proficient with project management software applications, Ares Prism and SAP preferred but not required, Primavera P6 required.
· Capable of self-performing all of the project controls required to support all phases of the project life cycle, while also providing reporting and analysis to drive decision making.
· Able to be self-sufficient and manage your time to meet project and company deadlines.
· Experience with the development, implementation, and maintenance of effective cost control and scheduling programs.
· A fundamental knowledge of production, compression, pumping, treating, processing, and produced water disposal facilities and pipeline infrastructure is preferred.
· Understanding of industry safety principles and their application at a construction location.
· Ability to prepare work breakdown and cost breakdown structures based on project scope, in conjunction with the Project Manager.
· Competency in earned value management.
· Ability to communicate analysis findings and required recovery plan activities to management through concise written reports and clear verbal/visual presentations.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree required.
Work Schedule:
Onsite Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday (THE WOODLANDS, TX), remote Wed/Friday. Must have the ability to work from home while accessing corporate IT systems remotely.
Travel Requirements:
Travel will be required up to 25%. Most travel will be to field locations in the Permian Basin in West Texas.
