My Insurance Client is actively seeking a Jr. Project Manager to supporting their growing EPMO.
This opportunity will be 3 days onsite (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday).
Summary
The Jr Project manager is responsible for the administration, support, and continual enhancement of project management tools and technologies. This role ensures the effective adoption and integration of project management tools, aligning them with the organization's evolving needs and providing robust technical support and training to project teams.
Responsibilities
- Help the Head of the PMO develop and maintain a project management systems technology roadmap, outlining the vision, strategy, and plan for adopting, implementing, and evolving project management tools and technologies.
- Manage and maintain project management software to ensure stability, reliability, and optimal performance.
- Create, configure, and manage project sites, templates, and administer enterprise resources within project management tools.
- Identify and configure new features/functionality to maximize capability required for efficient project management.
- Maintain daily operations and functionality of project management tools, proactively addressing and escalating issues.
- Recommend, develop, and execute technology and template modifications/advancements to support enterprise needs.
- Develop and maintain tools, processes, documentation, and templates required for project governance compliance.
- Set up and manage appropriate user rights and access permissions (users, groups, categories).
Requirements
- 4+ years or more experience in project management and technical administration of project management tools.
- 4+ years or more experience in project management and technical administration of project management tools.
- 1+ years or more experience creating reports using MSFT Power BI
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining technology roadmaps and project management systems.
- Experience with Workday (Projects Module) & One Plan preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field
