We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our healthcare team in Selma, AL. The LCSW will provide comprehensive mental health services, including assessment, diagnosis, psychotherapy, and case management, to individuals, families, and groups. Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health, emotional, and social functioning.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and clinical diagnoses.
- Provide evidence-based psychotherapy and counseling to clients across the lifespan, addressing issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use disorders, family conflict, and adjustment difficulties.
- Facilitate therapeutic groups and workshops to support clients' therapeutic goals and enhance coping skills.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, physicians, nurses, and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive care and ensure integrated treatment approaches.
- Advocate for clients' rights and access to community resources, social services, and support networks.
- Conduct crisis intervention and provide immediate support to clients experiencing acute mental health crises or emergencies.
- Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records, progress notes, and treatment documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, case conferences, and continuing education to enhance professional growth and maintain licensure.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Alabama, or eligible for licensure.
- Experience in providing psychotherapy and clinical interventions in a mental health setting.
- Knowledge of therapeutic modalities and evidence-based practices for treating diverse populations and mental health disorders.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish rapport with clients from various cultural backgrounds and age groups.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with clients and interdisciplinary teams.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
