Overview:
The Director, Accountability partners with internal investment, planning, and global accountability teams to implement strategies that exceed key performance objectives and deliver seamless reporting, providing a holistic view of PepsiCo's investments. This role aggregates, reports, and communicates all brand media plans across multiple media types and is a flexible selfstarter with a broad understanding of Media Strategy, Investment, Finance, and Operations.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with investment, planning, and accountability teams to implement strategies that exceed performance objectives.
Reporting: Aggregate and communicate all brand media plans across various media types.
Media Requirements & Savings Strategies: Work with management and planning teams to assess media requirements and drive savings strategies to meet media performance objectives.
Productivity Tracking: Lead tracking and reporting of PepsiCo’s productivity commitments.
Operational Leadership: Guide the implementation of operations and processes to examine media investment/tracking and recommend actions to maximize business benefits.
Global Reporting: Act as the key contact between Investment and Accountability for global reporting, showing delivery of pitch commitments.
Client Support: Assist the client media team with daytoday projects, adhoc requests, and budgetary exercises.
Communication Management: Coordinate and manage communications between client and agency teams, collaborating with Finance to ensure full visibility into PepsiCo’s overall investment and implement strong budget management processes.
Qualifications:
Client Partnership: Identify internal/external client needs and partner with stakeholders to exceed expectations. Continuously seek ways to increase value generation and client satisfaction.
Problem Solving: Understand complex cause and effect patterns, identify trends, and develop creative solutions.
Self Starter & Leader: Manage savings programs from start to finish.
Process Management: Demonstrate strong process management skills for multiple reporting on brands.
Project Management: Exhibit strong project management skills and analytical capabilities.
Communication: Establish communications and reporting templates, and meet deliverable dates.
Results Orientation: Possess a results oriented personality with a strong interest in media plan optimization and ROI.
Client Relationship Management: Display strong client relationship management skills and the ability to present in various forums and levels within a large organization.
5+ years in Media Planning and/or Buying, Media Consulting/Benchmarking, Project Management, Finance, and/or Media Procurement.
Experience managing savings targets within an agency team or with a 3rd party auditor/consultant.
This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
