In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing, developing, testing, debugging, and implementing software solutions specifically tailored for our Point of Sale (POS) and Payments technology. You will work on building new solutions that drive our restaurant operations forward, ensuring they are efficient, reliable, and scalable.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand software requirements, translating them into detailed specifications and standards.
- Develop innovative software solutions that enhance our POS and Payments systems, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Assess the cost of new and modified systems, contributing to the proposal process for new projects.
- Design, develop, and modify original applications or third-party applications, with a focus on POS and Payments technology.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications, ensuring they meet quality standards and are ready for deployment.
- Develop training materials and manuals, and provide training sessions to ensure effective use of the software by end-users.
- Manage user support requests, gather feedback, and implement improvements to enhance user experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of software engineering experience.
- Proven experience with POS and Payments technology.
- Strong proficiency in .NET development.
- Advanced debugging capabilities to troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team environment.
