We are seeking a Sr. IT Project Manager for our client in Columbia SC! If you are an IT Project Manager with Application Development project experience (SDLC), and are seeking an opportunity for career growth with one of the largest IT employers in SC, this may be the place for you!
*This is a hybrid role located in Columbia SC, working onsite in office three days a week and remote 2 days a week. Candidates must be local to Columbia or within a comfortable commuting distance, and willing to work a hybrid schedule.

What you will do in this role:
- Lead several projects (one to five) in a strong matrix environment executing Software Development Lifecycle methodologies.
- Developing and monitoring project plans, communication plans, risk management plans, and project artifacts from project initiation to post implementation/closure.
- Ensures project deliverables are complete on time, on budget, within scope, and in accordance with organization's standards
- Responsible daily for the development, execution, and maintenance of project plans and project communications, facilitating effective communications between all parties involved in the project, including meetings, correspondence/recaps, status reports and other project artifacts per organization's standards.
- Monitors resource requirements and assigned deliverables based on project specifications. Ensures resources are assigned to meet project objectives while managing project hours budgeted.
- Identifies and manages tasks and issues that impact the scope, budget, risk, and resources of the work effort to ensure delivery as planned.
- Provides both written and verbal project status updates upon request.
Education/Experience required:
- Bachelors or Associates Degree or extra years of work related experience.
- 5 years of IT experience in a leadership capacity on one or more project teams.
- 2+ years experience leading two or more concurrent project teams
- Windows Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint Online, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, Teams)
