Our client, a leading contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) based in the US, is seeking a Project Manager to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the development and commercialization efforts.
Location: Union County, NJ
Pay: $90,000 to $110,000

Responsibilities:
- Lead manufacturing and CMC development projects from kickoff through tech transfer and process optimization to handoff to the production team.
- Develop and execute project plans and budgets under the supervision of the VP of CDMO Project Management.
- Assist in the tech transfer and development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other project-related documentation.
- Participate in initial radiolabeling, QC testing, and troubleshooting for new products.
- Manage the training and internal hand-off of projects to production and quality teams.
- Maintain standard project management tools, including open issue lists and Gantt charts.
- Collaborate closely with client teams and internal departments (production, quality, finance).
Qualifications:
- 3-4 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and/or 2-3 years of project management experience in other segments of the pharmaceutical industry, with a strong background in GMP environments.
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Chemistry, Engineering, etc.); an advanced scientific degree is strongly preferred.
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under strict timelines.
- Proven ability to work independently and exercise judgment during method development/transfer processes.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Practical experience with basic project management techniques and software applications.
- Ability to convey complex ideas simply to management and customers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Project, etc.) and experience with laboratory information management systems (LIMS).
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Strong technical writing skills.
