Job Description
We are seeking a skilled BI Reporting Analyst to join our data-driven team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in performing A/B tests, conducting business analysis, and producing actionable insights to drive our business forward. You will work directly with internal and external clients to identify analytical requirements and leverage your expertise in SQL ETL, statistical analysis, and data visualization to deliver impactful results.
As a BI Reporting Analyst, you will be responsible for determining best practices and developing recommendations to optimize current business operations. Your work will involve creating ad hoc reports using Tableau and implementing systems to capture vital business information. Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct A/B tests and other business analyses using SQL ETL, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling techniques
- Develop and maintain data pipelines to support analytical needs
- Create insightful data visualizations and reports using Tableau
- Identify and analyze relevant data sets to mine insights and recommend actions to key stakeholders
- Collaborate with non-technical stakeholders to define requirements and drive projects
- Implement and develop systems to capture business operation information
- Assist in determining best practices for data analysis and reporting
- Provide guidance to less experienced business data analysts when needed
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in data analytics
Required Experience/Skills
- Bachelor's Degree (mandatory)
- Strong expertise in A/B testing and randomized controlled experimentation
- Proficiency in reading and writing SQL, with experience in constructing ETL/data pipelines
- Advanced skills in developing data visualizations using Tableau
- Proven ability to find and analyze data sets, mine insights, and recommend actions
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work directly with non-technical stakeholders
- Experience in data mining and statistical analysis
Nice-to-Haves
- Prior experience with paid marketing channels
- Familiarity with the software technology category
- Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
Education
- Bachelor's Degree (required)
- Advanced degree in Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (preferred)
