• Analytical ability, basic computer skills, good communication skills, ability to adapt to procedures based on age of patient, ability to interpret information to identify each patient's requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs. Prepares patient for procedures. Operates CT equipment.
Responsibilities
Temp Assignment Based CT techs are experienced, proficient technologist within their specialty responsible for providing safe, continuous quality patient care in a variety of settings. These CT techs are temporarily assigned to one unit for a designated number of weeks based on needs of the system. These CT techs possess the skills, competency and qualifications, as well as a requirement to work in any Novant Health location. The CT technologist assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and / or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the CT equipment to obtain diagnostic scans.
