This is an amazing opportunity for a HR generalist to join a fast paced, rapidly expanding company that has an industry leading product line, taking advantage of the developments in Aerial drones to help military/public safety-based deployments with surveillance-based missions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding: Source, interview, and onboard new employees.
Employee Relations: Address employee concerns, mediate conflicts, and foster a positive workplace culture.
Payroll & Benefits Administration: Process payroll, manage employee benefits, and ensure accurate compensation.
Policy Development: Create and implement HR policies and procedures.
Compliance: Ensure the company adheres to labour laws and regulations.
Performance Management: Assist with performance reviews and employee development plans.
Training & Development: Organize training sessions and support employee growth initiatives.
HR Data Management: Maintain employee records and manage HR software.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree: In Human Resources, or a related field.
- HR Certification: Preferred certifications like SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent.
- Proficiency in HR Software: Experience with HRIS systems and payroll software.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and conflict resolution skills.
Experience:
- 4+ Years in HR Roles: Proven experience in HR, ideally in a generalist capacity.
- Start up or Small Business Experience: Preferred experience in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Hands-on experience with hiring processes and onboarding.
- Employee Relations: Experience managing employee relations and workplace issues.
- Policy Implementation: Track record of developing and enforcing HR policies.
