Published Job Summary Industry-leading producer seeks a Drafter / Designer to learn design and detailing, ensuring that components fit and work properly. You should be detail oriented and have good visualization / spatial relation skills. You should have knowledge of 2D drafting programs such as AutoCAD. 3D knowledge a plus (not required). Responsibilities
- Create and check fabrication drawings and reports, including bills of materials
- Specify and design framing conditions along with project-specific requirements
- Generate construction drawings using various 2D and 3D software
- Coordinate detailing with Design Engineers in relation to the overall design
requirements:
- AS or training in CAD/CAM software, BIM modeling, etc.
- 2+ years' drafting experience desired, not required
- Leadership experience a big plus, even if in non-professional environments
- Leadership ambitions required. This is a growth-specific role in which you will learn drafting and improve your skills, to eventually follow a career path into leadership.
