Our client, a leading medical device company, is actively looking for a Service Desk Analyst to join their team in Auburn, MA! This role is onsite so local candidates are required.
***This is an initial 2 month contract***
This Service Desk Analyst will act as the central point of contact for handling internal business partner's technical support issues. This person will be responsible for responding to issues by gathering all necessary information and providing resolution during the initial contact or forwarding the issue to the correct support team for resolution. The primarily focus is to assist the business with Deskside and Phone Support for IT incidents and requests.
Required Skills & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalency
- 1-3 years of experience in an IT Support role
- 1-3 years of experience working in a Call Center or Service Desk environment
- In depth knowledge of Windows OS (Win10, Win11, Windows Services)
- Familiarity with MacOS/Linux is beneficial
- Experience with remote desktop tools and support software
- Proficiency using Active Directory tools to manage user accounts, groups, and permissions
- Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
- Understanding of basic networking concepts like TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN
