Job Description:Discover will not sponsor or transfer employment work visas for this position. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Responsible for supporting day-to-day preparedness, response, and recovery activities of the Incident & Crisis Management Program. Serves as a partner in incident management activities for internal business partners to strengthen Discover's overall business resiliency. Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.
Responsibilities:
Contribute to the development and ongoing maturity of plans, playbooks, policies, standards, and procedures applicable to incident response across the company.
Coordinate response to incidents of minor complexity and scale. Support the management of incidents of moderate and severe complexity and scale.
Support the production of timely, accurate, and complete incident reporting for relevant stakeholders and committees.
Assist in the design, coordination, and facilitation of Crisis Management exercises.
Assist in the development of responses to exams, audits, or assessments from regulators, third-parties, internal partners, and auditors.
Minimum Qualifications
At a minimum, here’s what we need from you:
- Bachelor's Degree in Security and Intelligence, Information Technology, Finance, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in incident management, corporate crisis management, Emergency Management, Business Continuity, information security, or Physical Security.
- In lieu of a degree, 6+ years of incident management, corporate crisis management, Emergency Management, Business Continuity, information security, or Physical Security.

Compensation:
The base pay for this position generally ranges between $75,500.00 to $127,900.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
