We are seeking a highly skilled Business Readiness Project Manager! The ideal candidate will lead and manage business readiness activities for key projects within the Behavioral Health division. This role requires a deep understanding of business processes, change management, and the healthcare industry. The Business Readiness Project Manager will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure that the business is fully prepared for upcoming changes, enabling smooth transitions and maximizing project success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead business readiness efforts for large-scale projects, ensuring that the business is fully prepared for the implementation of new systems, processes, or changes.
- Engage and communicate with key stakeholders, including senior management, to ensure alignment on project goals, timelines, and outcomes.
- Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure that all business areas are ready for project go-live, including training, communication, and support plans.
- Identify potential risks related to business readiness and develop mitigation plans to address them. Monitor and report on readiness status throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with training teams to develop and deliver training programs that ensure employees are well-prepared to adopt new processes and systems.
- Develop and execute communication plans to keep all stakeholders informed about project progress, readiness status, and key milestones.
- Work with business units to optimize processes and ensure that they align with project goals and objectives.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure business readiness and project success. Provide regular updates to project teams and senior leadership.
- Lead post-implementation reviews to assess the success of business readiness activities and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Health Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on business readiness or change management within the health insurance or healthcare industry.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- In-depth knowledge of health insurance operations, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive decisions.
- Proficient in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, or equivalent).
- Certifications: PMP, Prosci Change Management Certification, or equivalent certifications are highly desirable.
