Currently, they are in search of a Principal Data Scientist who will collaborate closely with their data team (including data science, economics, and engineering) to derive actionable insights from data across various contexts.

Requirements
- M.S. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
- Thorough understanding and practical application of contemporary machine learning techniques in production environments
- Knowledge of Causal Modelling
- Experience in developing data science products using both structured and unstructured data
- Proficiency in R, Python, and SQL for hands-on data analysis
- Familiarity with standard engineering tools such as GitHub, Docker, and Jupyter/RStudio
- Development experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, AWS Quicksight, Metabase, etc.
- Solid understanding of data engineering practices, data security, and IaaS (AWS)
- Excellent communication skills and business acumen
- Ability to undertake operations/engineering tasks such as automated testing, version control, documentation, and deployment
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Experience with modeling, longitudinal methods, and integration of multiple data sources
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment
- Preference for some knowledge of healthcare, health tech, or healthcare data analytics
Typical Tasks and Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the Chief Product Officer in analyzing enterprise data to enhance products and solutions, including building sophisticated and interpretable machine learning models
- Assisting the Chief Technology Officer in deploying machine learning models to production environments
- Integrating and analyzing diverse data sources such as Electronic Health Records, HR data, and survey data
- Developing innovative solutions for various statistical challenges and business requirements
- Contributing to publications in academic journals and conferences
- Collaborating closely with other key team members on various projects
