Business Operations Manager: Must be able to be onsite in Boston, MA
Responsibilities:
- Oversee North American Business Operations Team: task prioritization, recruitment, training, coaching, mentoring, performance discussions, conflict resolution.
- Implement process improvements for business operations, such as optimizing travel booking and managing hotdesking.
- Manage communications across North American offices.
- Develop and monitor adherence to business operations policies (expenses, travel, desk booking).
- Ensure efficient Boston office management, including logistics for meetings, maintaining office cleanliness, supervising supply orders, managing vendor relationships, and troubleshooting office technology.
- Lead office projects, including coordinating moves/build-outs and office re-organization.
Budgeting and Expenses:
- Oversee budgeting for events, charity, and gifts, ensuring expenditures stay within budget.
- Manage bi-weekly invoice payments and track vendor expenses.
- Assist team members with expense reporting and travel costs.
Team Support:
- Collaborate with People Team and IT for onboarding/offboarding.
- Support scheduling for interviews, training, and social events.
- Assist with business development materials and travel arrangements.
Senior Team Member Support:
- Manage senior team member’s calendar, phone calls, expense submissions, travel arrangements, and meeting logistics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong organizational, administrative, and leadership skills.
- Experience managing a small team.
- Excellent communication and attention to detail.
- High degree of professionalism and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint).
- Strong customer service skills and team-oriented attitude.
