Release/Configuration Engineer
Direct Hire / FTE
Milpitas, CA 95035 (Onsite)
We are hiring a Release/Configuration Engineer to work as a part of team to help build infrastructure and processes for unattended Remote upgrades of Windows OS on IoT devices. Work conditions - Corporate office/lab environment.
Skills & Experience
- Proficient in developing and managing installation packages using tools such as InstallShield
- In-depth understanding of Windows OS, including installation, configuration and OS imaging
- Experience installing Windows OS using automated means such as Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT), Task Sequence, SCCM
- Strong ability to automate tasks using PowerShell scripting
- Knowledge of basic networking concepts, DHCP, DNS, and troubleshooting network connectivity issues
- Experience managing VM environments using platforms such as VMWare and Hyper-V
- Experience authoring detailed technical documentation for Support Engineers
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT / IS or relevant experience
