Registered Dental Hygienist- New Grads welcome
Established family dental practice seeks an additional hygienist. Hygienists play a critical role in promoting good oral health and preventing dental issues. You will work closely with the doctor to educate patients and provide preventive and therapeutic dental care.
Responsibilities:
Comprehensive documentation and continuous communication/collaboration with the doctor
Perform accurate assessments according to ADA guidelines/standards including, but not limited to: caries risk; periodontal condition; oral cancer; radiographic technique and findings.
Effectively perform appropriate preventive or therapeutic procedure as prescribed by the doctor. (1 hour appointments)
Educate patients about clinical findings, oral health/overall health, progression of disease, proper home care and re-care frequencies.
Focus on comprehensive patient care.
Commitment to maintaining dental hygiene licensure and knowledge through continuing education.
Qualifications:
Active RDH license in Massachusetts, preferred anesthesia license in Massachusetts
Strong clinical skills and attention to detail.
Professional communication and collaboration with the dentist and the office team.
Excellent patient communication and education skills.
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
