Job Description:
- Design, implement, and manage GCP infrastructure and services to ensure scalability, security, and high availability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand infrastructure requirements and provide technical expertise for GCP solutions
- Develop and automate GCP infrastructure deployment and management using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Google's deployment manager
- Monitor GCP infrastructure and services, and implement strategies for optimization and cost management
- Implement security best practices and compliance requirements for GCP environments
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to GCP infrastructure and services
- Stay updated with the latest GCP features, services, and best practices to continuously improve the infrastructure
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Professional certification in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) such as Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Cloud Developer, or Professional Cloud Network Engineer
- Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing GCP infrastructure and services
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and performance optimization in GCP
- Experience with automation and infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Google's deployment manager
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and scripting tasks
Skills:
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to address GCP infrastructure and service issues
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues in GCP environments
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and best practices in the GCP ecosystem
