QUALIFICATIONS: A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders or equivalent from an accredited
institution. The Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association or be completing the
Clinical Fellowship and is licensed or is eligible for licensure in the state of Indiana are expected.
SUPERVISION: This job will work closely with all Education and Clinical staff but will report to the Director of Education and has
no direct reports
POSITION PHILOSOPHY: T.C. Harris is a residential facility providing therapeutic and educational services to children,
adolescents and young adults with developmental disabilities, autism and emotional disturbances. Because of their disabilities, our
students require continuous, close proximity supervision while engaging in their daily living activities. We train our staff to use proper
interventions and therapeutic approaches while supervising our students. The primary function of the SLP at T.C. Harris School is to
facilitate student growth and education in the academic setting. This is achieved through evaluation, individual and group therapy,
observation, report writing, IEP goal setting/progressing, and participation in student-related meetings IEP, treatment review .
