Our client, a popular gifting brand, is seeking a Sales Specialist to join their team on a contract basis.
This is a temp-to-perm hybrid role out of Jericho, NY (Long Island).
Responsibilities:
- Perform outbound phone calls, emails, and social media messaging to develop sales opportunities within the designated territory
- Create awareness, present, and sell company service/product offering to prospective clients
- Prepare annual territory account plans and sales forecast.
- Identify specific targets and prepare regular sales call plan to projecting new contacts and existing customer contact
- Maintain relationships with active vendors / clients
- Manage email communications for active client accounts
- Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from marketing efforts
- Collaborate cross-functionally with all Customer Service, Operations, and merchandising teams.
- Work with prospective buyers on the needed documentation to launch new business opportunities
- Effective and consistent use of database to log daily efforts
- Maintain high level of communications and services with current clients to ensure high level of account satisfaction
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years+ experience within sales or business operations.
- Must be skilled with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Highly organized and strong attention to detail.
- Must work and communicate well with others – peers, managers, external associates.
