Technical Source is looking for a contract-to-potential hire for a greenfield manufacturing plant. This Project Manager needs to be highly skilled at managing multiple complex projects relating to commissioning, qualifying, and validating a new sight.
As the Project Manager for the $2M CQV project, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing the project according to strict deadlines and within budget. You will manage the project team, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure that all project deliverables meet the highest quality standards. This role requires a deep understanding of CQV processes, exceptional leadership skills, and a strategic approach to project management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of engineers, technicians, and other professionals involved in the CQV project. Facilitate regular team meetings, track progress, and address any issues or roadblocks.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including internal departments, external vendors, and clients. Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management in a timely and transparent manner.
- Budget & Resource Management: Develop and manage the project budget, ensuring that expenditures are within the approved limits and addressing any financial discrepancies. Optimize resource utilization and manage procurement of materials and services required for the project.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues. Develop contingency plans and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all CQV activities are conducted according to quality standards and regulatory guidelines. Oversee the development and execution of validation protocols, testing procedures, and documentation.
- Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and present regular project reports, including progress updates, financial status, and performance metrics. Ensure all project documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with company and regulatory requirements.
