Position Summary:
Under general direction of the Director and Associate Director, provides high-level fiscal, analytical, administrative and policy/procedure support to the SWPR Unit, Vice President, Associate Vice Presidents, Vice Provosts, Directors and Academics. Independently manages short and long-term budget planning, rate generation, and financial oversight, for statewide initiatives, statewide programs, directors and others as necessary.
Administers post-award administration, research project management, procedure development, and complex budget/financial management and reporting. Performs high level analytical and problem-solving support to the ANR Leadership in relation to base and current year budget allocations and fiscal matters of significant complexity.
This position is a contract appointment that is 100% fixed and ends one year from date of hire with the possibility of extension.
The home department for this position is Statewide Programs and Research and Extension Center Operations (SWPR). While this position normally is based at 2801 2nd Street in Davis, CA, this position is eligible for hybrid flexible work arrangements, for applicants living in the State of California, at this time. Please note that hybrid flexible work arrangements are subject to change by the University.
Pay Scale: $87,300.00/year to $125,300.00/year
This position will promote, in all ways consistent with the other responsibilities of the position, accomplishment of the Affirmative Action goals established by the Division.
