You must be a SQL Engineer, 100% hands on, and extremely technical. The environment has many servers and physical data centers, all MS SQL-based. Requirements/Job Duties:
- 7+ years of senior-level SQL development and 24/7 monitoring.
- SQL code and schema development.
- Expert-level experience with synchronized, distributed SQL architecture.
- NOT looking for Azure SQL Engineers / DBA's. Must be hands-on, on-prem Sr SQL Engineers on the Operations side.
- Deeply in the SQL code every single day.
- Working on Stored Procedures and Functions every day.
- Looking within the matrix and logs every day.
- A proactive problem solver and doer. NOT looking for a DBA who sits back to administer.
