We are on the lookout for a highly skilled Founding Full Stack Engineer with strong leadership qualities who is eager to shape the future direction of our product. This individual should have a passion for healthcare and a keen interest in leveraging AI to solve complex industry challenges. As one of the first engineering hires, you’ll collaborate closely with the co-founders and play a crucial role in developing the core features of our product, expanding the engineering team, and driving the product’s evolution. We're looking for someone who is excited to be hands-on coding and enhance existing systems.
Location / Hybrid: 1-2x in-office in SF Bay Area
Responsibilities
- Develop and upgrade systems independently or by guiding engineering teams
- Design and document new APIs from the ground up
- Establish and oversee comprehensive security protocols and data safeguards
- Diagram intricate technical workflows and foster a high-caliber engineering environment
- Assist in identifying and attracting exceptional technical candidates
- Continuously monitor technological advancements and industry developments to spur innovation
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in CS or related field
- 5+ years full stack software development
- Experience working in a DevOps environment
- Advanced in software development methodologies, programming languages, system architecture
- Startup and/or Founder experience, YC-backed startup is a plus
- Experience working with AI/ML applications
