Stealth Communications seeks multiple Fiber Technicians/Laborers to join our expanding team in North Brunswick, NJ. In this role, you will be responsible for running, splicing, and repairing fiber optic cables, installing conduits, and performing road repairs. You’ll gain hands-on experience working alongside seasoned technicians. We are looking for dependable, eager individuals who are ready to learn and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
This position does not require security clearance and is based onsite in North Brunswick, NJ. Primary area of Operations: New York City
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain fiber optic cables through underground systems
- Assist in splicing and cable repair
- Perform installation tasks, including fastening cabling and installing panels
- Maintain workspaces and shop buildings
- Work in confined spaces
- Operate construction equipment, tools, and materials
- Installation of conduits, digging, asphalting, and minor road repairs
- Provide excellent customer service during installations
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
- Must have reliable transportation to work
- Must be able to have a flexible schedule
- Ability to work in personal protective equipment in all weather conditions
- Physical ability to climb, kneel, stoop, lift up to 50 lbs, and work off a ladder
- Ability to distinguish fiber optic cable colors
- Experience preferred but not required; we provide full training
- Preference for those with previous field leadership experience
