Responsibilities- Provide leadership, supervision, direction, and performance monitoring to achieve goals and meet departmental standards.
- Responsible for supervising and coordinating healthcare services in the CT department and overseeing the operational, financial, and personnel activities of the CT department.
- Demonstrate initiative for excellence and specialized knowledge to influence, motivate, train, and lead staff.
- Take ownership of assignments, special projects, pilot programs, and other duties, including performance improvement, patient satisfaction, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Interact with other departments to solve problems, elicit cooperation, and provide information reflecting the organization's professional and quality patient care standards.
- Assist all staff and modality leaders with PACS and EPIC issues and assist with corrections to the systems.
- Must be able to start an IV line to administer contrast and demonstrate knowledge of contrast media injections and reactions.
- Accountable for operating CT equipment safely and proficiently and serving as a resource to staff.
Qualifications Job Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology training program in a school approved by the Council of Medical Education of the AMA
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
- Acitve BLS for Healthcare Providers
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Advanced certification in CT
- Two years of directly related experience in hospital setting with prior supervisory experience
