Child, Adolescent, and Young Adult Outpatient and Intensive Outpatient Psychiatry Locum Tenens Job in the Greater Los Angeles Area Details/Requirements: Two programs need coverage. The first is a typical outpatient program for children and adolescents plus some young adults. Patient ages range from 0-5 and up to 18 and could go as high as age 21. The 2nd program need is a wraparound intensive outpatient program for youth under age 18 through the department of child and family services. These patients are more severely disturbed, so the client s team wraps services around them to help them. Typically, these patients families are in foster care. Need is for approximately 27 hours a MONTH starting ASAP and ongoing for the right candidate. The 27 hours a MONTH includes about 7.5 hours a month for wraparound/IOP and 20 hours per month for outpatient with the hope of growing up to 32 hours a MONTH with wraparound growth but hoping to grow outpatient as well. Not a lot of patients with dual diagnosis in either program. Flexible regarding days/hours worked as long as services are provided between 8A-5P, Monday through Friday. Patients are wanting more in-person time with their psychiatrist. So, the client prefers 100% onsite services as their first priority, and if not, then they would consider 50/50 onsite/tele health as a second priority, and worse case scenario they ll consider 100% tele health using Zoom through their E.H.R. which is EXYM. Plus they use RXNT for electronic prescribing. They will train you on how to use EXYM and RXNT. Credentialing can take up to two weeks. Requires a board certified child psychiatrist. Prefers a minimum assignment length of 6 months to one year; the longer, the better. Jackson + Coker offers: + Weekly Direct Depos
