Job Title: ServiceNow Developer (Event Management OR CMDB modules)
Duration: 18–24-month
Location: Chicago, IL or Tempe, AZ 3 days onsite per week.
Must Haves:
- 4+ years of ServiceNow development experience
- Extensive knowledge and experience working in CMDB module OR expertise and knowledge working in Event Management Module
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to collaborate and work with cross functional teams
Day to day:
- The client is seeking an accomplished ServiceNow developer to take on some additional work their team has acquired.
- This person will be assigned to an Agile Pod (they have a total of 12 Agile pods within the ServiceNow domain). They will then work with their team’s Product Owner, Business Analyst, Scrum Master and Business Stakeholders to define requirements.
- Each day will start with stand up meetings to provide status updates, and releases will be done on a weekly bases.
- ServiceNow is leveraged across the organization, so the they have both IT and business users, as well.
- Collaboration is a key characteristic of this team member as they will be working with many different teams on a regular basis.
- The right person for this role will have a proven track record of developing code, understanding different modules, and have strong communication skills to work with cross functional teams.
