Lead Quality Assurance Technician - Day Shift
Location-Saint Clair, MO 63077, USA
Starting Pay: $28-30/hr
Shift: 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday through Friday
Overview: The position of Quality Lead is responsible for the daily oversight of the quality department and its personnel. This position is also responsible to provide quality support through collaboration with other departments.
- $1,000 Sign On Bonus
- Starting Pay: $30/hr
- Shift: 8am to 4:30pm Monday - Friday
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily activities of the Quality team.
- Adhere to the Quality Master Plan and ensure that all quality programs are executed.
- Super user of PQS, SAP, QMS, DCMS and Smartsheet.
- Confidently make decisions to help meet Safety, Quality, and production goals
- Facilitate training for all Quality training for the plant personnel.
- Develop flexibility in team members through cross training
- Facilitate nonconformance investigations during production or from customer complaints. Document investigations, and corrective actions.
- Coordinate approval of deviations.
- Ensure all scheduled and unscheduled absences within the Quality Department are covered appropriately, including overtime
- Engage with and facilitate site audits, both Internal and Customer driven
- Champion Good Documentation Practices in the facility
- Backup for generating Certificates of Analysis/Conformance and other documentation as needed or requested
- Attend meetings to represent quality in the absence of Quality Manager.
- Facilitate fitment tests and follow through quality requirements for ISRs
- Emergency backup to all quality positions; including being the main backup for the Quality Manager
- Coordinate SOP creation/reviews and Document Management System.
- Coordinate product and document retains.
- Coordinate holds, retains and ensure that operations and scheduling receive dispositions in a timely manner.
- Coordinate process capability reviews.
- Maintain quality KPIs.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the Site Quality Manager.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Quality Processes or related field / OR related experience / OR a combination thereof
- Two (2) + years' in a similar role
- Lab instrumentation experience required, including the GC and HPLC
- Experience with Quality processes and/or systems

- Bonus incentive programs: monthly attendance bonuses as well as quarterly performance bonuses. (quarterly bonus is Operations Incentive Program, and it is based on the performance across the entire plant. The % is based on performance numbers but it could be a max of 3% of the gross quarterly employee earnings)
