Job Summary:
The Construction Superintendent will be responsible for coordinating all site activities, managing subcontractors, ensuring adherence to safety standards, and maintaining the project schedule and budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of construction procedures, regulations, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role in construction management.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience required.
- In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA guidelines.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred). Relevant work experience may substitute for formal education.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA 30-hour, First Aid/CPR) are a plus.
- Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Must be willing to travel out of state.
