Job Title: Senior Software Engineer/ Embedded Engineer/ Member of Technical Staff
Location: Santa Clara, California, 95054 (4 days onsite and 1 day remote)
Pay range: $60 to $80 per hour on W2 only
This is a contract position on W2 only, no C2C or H1b
Summary:
• Full life cycle software development from design through development, validation and release.
• Implementation of software for inventory, configuration, firmware and software management including versioning, updating, minimizing availability impact, etc.
• Integration with existing infrastructure, and cross-team development to support new features and capabilities.
Education:
• Master's degree in CS or equivalent field with 5-7yrs of experience (preferred)
• BS in CS or equivalent field with 10+ yrs of experience.
Experience:
• Excellent C++ and Python coding skills
• Experience with firmware management, tooling/scripting, CI/CD, OS fundamentals, Bash, Networking
• Experience using source code versioning tools like Github
REQUIRED:
• advanced C++ and Python coding skills, networking skills, low level hardware understanding,
• Tasks: embedded team to improve inventory management to enhance customer management; install software; improve infrastructure around software installment; designing, developing software and validating robust infrastructure.
