Leading Trading Firm - Full Stack Software Opening
I am working with a leading trading firm in NYC that are looking for a full stack software engineer.
You will be working on a team that focuses on the intersection of human interaction with automated and manual trading. Your main responsibilities will involve building UIs and backend processes to support Traders in overseeing processes, executing manual trades, understanding risk, and researching improvements to strategies. You will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to the trading infrastructure as a whole, and work on all stages of software development across the full stack at the firm.
To excel in this role, you will need
- Solid backend coding practices Python/C++/Java
- Excellent coding, debugging, and problem-solving skills
- Strong Computer Science fundamentals.
- You should have a working knowledge of UNIX operating systems and experience with Typescript/React/Redux is a plus.
- You should also possess a willingness to learn and grow as an engineer and have a passion for UX and building human-focused technological solutions.
- 1-8 years of experience needed.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required for this role.
