Job Overview:
The General Manager will oversee all aspects of hotel operations to maximize profitability while delivering exceptional guest experiences. This hands-on role requires a strong leader with excellent communication skills to drive hotel performance, develop the team, and uphold the Marriott brand standards.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Performance: Develop and execute strategies to increase revenue, control expenses, and meet financial goals.
- Guest Satisfaction: Ensure superior guest service by implementing quality standards and resolving guest issues promptly.
- Team Leadership: Build and develop a high-performing team through effective coaching, training, and motivation.
- Operations Management: Oversee daily operations, including sales, marketing, food and beverage, housekeeping, and maintenance.
- Community Engagement: Build strong relationships within the local community to enhance the hotel's reputation.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in hotel management with a strong emphasis on profitability and guest satisfaction.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong financial acumen and analytical abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
- Experience in the nearby markets of Louisville, Cincinnati, or Indianapolis is highly desirable.
