We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Governance Specialist with our industry-leading client to consult on enterprise-wide data governance frameworks, with a focus on improvement of data quality and the protection of sensitive data through modifications to organization behavior policies and standards, principles, governance metrics, processes, related tools and data architecture
Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $20 - $25 / hr. W2 + Benefits
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.

Responsibilities of the IT Governance Specialist:
- Support the development and delivery of the governance program through artifact creation and maintenance and administering defined procedures, analyses, and report preparation.
- Assist with planning and execution of routine and defined outputs, while developing knowledge of the broader context in which the work is being performed
- Identify and communicate opportunities for program process efficiencies and automation
- Knowledge transfer and cross-training on operational processes to other support personnel
- Utilize and develop proficiency with governance tool set
- Provide support of cross-squad product-related work
- Accountable for reoccurring governance metric processes and data analysis
- Define roles and responsibilities related to data governance and ensure clear accountability for stewardship
- Facilitate the development and implementation of data quality standards, data protection standards and adoption requirements across the enterprise
- Define indicators of performance and quality metrics and ensure compliance with data related policies, standards, roles and responsibilities, and adoption requirements
Requirements of the IT Governance Specialist:
- Degree or equivalent work experience in related discipline (Data Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, ect.)
- Experience in implementing data management in the consulting industry
- Project management experience
- Have proven experience in defining a data governance operating model, communicating the model and implementing it at the Enterprise business unit level in an organization
- Have hands-on experience in implementing data dictionaries, business glossaries, data lineage, data service agreements and data quality metric
