Job Title: Residential Architect
Location: Peachtree Corners, GA
Schedule: Monday-Friday Fully In-Office
Pay: $100,000k-$105,000k + benefits
Are you an experienced Residential Architect with a knack for managing multiple projects and navigating zoning complexities? Our client is seeking a talented individual to join us in a pivotal role. This position has been split among four managers over the past year, but we are now looking for a single person to consolidate these responsibilities.

- Project Assessment: Evaluate project requirements, analyze sites, and research zoning and building codes to determine project feasibility.
- Design: Develop design concepts that align with client needs and vision while considering site constraints, environmental impact, and building codes. Create sketches, drawings, and models to communicate design ideas effectively.
- Planning and Coordination: Prepare and coordinate project documents, including plans, specifications, and construction details. Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals involved in the project.
- Zoning: Communicate with local government and regulatory bodies to ensure that projects meet all zoning requirements.
- Construction Administration: Oversee project construction to ensure adherence to design, specifications, and building codes. Make necessary design changes to accommodate unexpected conditions during construction.
- Schedule Management: Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring timely project completion.
- Communication: Maintain open and regular communication with other departments throughout the design and construction process, providing updates and responding to questions and concerns.
- Building Codes and Regulations: Stay updated with local building codes and regulations, ensuring project compliance with all relevant codes and regulations.
What you need to succeed:
- 5+years of experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in managing multiple projects, understanding zoning and local municipalities, and providing critical information to sales and land development teams.
- Familiarity with what other builders in the surrounding area are constructing to guide the team in selecting the right product.
- Ability to manage current in-house drafters and present trends with the sales team effectively.
