Sr Maintenance & Reliability Engineer
West Chester, OH (relocation available)
Full Time Position
Summary:
A leading chemical manufacturer who specializes in specialty chemicals is looking for a new senior level Maintenance & Reliability Engineer to upscale their team. This is a full time position in West Chester, Ohio.
Responsibilities:
- Collects and interprets metrics on plant reliability to drive improvement efforts.
- Creates and updates a prioritized list of the top ten equipment reliability challenges for each site.
- Implements initiatives aimed at enhancing equipment uptime and overall reliability.
- Ensures timely and effective completion of Maintenance Inspections (MI), Preventive Maintenance (PM), and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) tasks.
- Oversees and updates the Mistras Plant Condition Management Software (PCMS)
- Facilitates communication between plant operations and project engineering teams for capital projects.
- Leads analyses and Failure Modes and Effects Analyses (FMEAs) to identify causes of failures and develop solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Keeps updated lists of critical equipment for both LCK and MDT plants.
- Creates charters for maintenance-related capital funding requests.
- Manages work performed by contractors, vendors, and technical consultants.
- Oversees adherence to safety regulations and requirements within the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 7 years of relevant industrial experience.
- Experience in Analyzing and Corrective Actions related to maintenance, including developing and maintaining MI and PM programs.
- Knowledge of PSM Elements, ASME Codes, and familiarity with electrical, piping, mechanical, RAGAGEP, NFPA, and ISA standards.
- Strong Communication Skills and proven ability to work effectively with peers, subordinates, and superiors.
- Ability to Manage Multiple Tasks and Budgets, with experience in using computer-based maintenance management systems and balancing plant needs
