The ideal candidate will have a passion for the audio-visual industry, strong interpersonal skills, and a drive to expand their market presence. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and contributing to the overall growth strategy of the company in the event services sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and industry trends in the event services sector. Analyze competitors and identify opportunities for growth.
- Lead Generation: Generate leads through various channels, including networking, cold calling, email campaigns, and social media outreach. Focus on corporate events, conferences, trade shows, and live performances.
- Client Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients. Understand their event needs and propose tailored audio-visual solutions.
- Sales Support: Assist Production Managers in preparing presentations and sales materials. Collaborate with the sales team to close deals and achieve sales targets.
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development and implementation of business development strategies. Provide insights and recommendations based on market analysis and client feedback.
- Event Participation: Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences. Network with potential clients and partners to promote our audio-visual event services.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of business development activities, including lead generation, client interactions, and sales progress. Prepare regular reports for management review.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role. Experience in the audio-visual event services industry is required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
- Familiarity with audio-visual technology and event services is required.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
