As a Business Systems Analyst III Your primary focus will be on the compensation functional area, where you will work to uncover and establish business needs, translate them into technical requirements, and develop innovative solutions to increase the adoption of technology platforms, including Workday and Pave. You will build strong partnerships across various teams, advocate for technology that enhances compensation programs, and contribute to the overall People Technology strategy. You will report to the Sr. Manager of People Systems within the CIO's organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide architectural consultation across Workday modules and integrated solutions, including Workday HCM Core, Compensation, US Payroll, Reporting, Security, and integrations.
- Define internal best practices for system architecture, design, and build across the "compensation planning" ecosystem and integrated enterprise business systems.
- Collaborate with the PM in defining and implementing a multi-quarter technology roadmap, ensuring alignment with business stakeholders and IT engineering, data, and security teams.
- Support all stages of the software development life cycle, including system integration, configuration, data conversion, functional specifications, program and system quality testing, go-live, and post-go-live implementation support.
- Create and maintain documentation of business processes, integration, and related data architecture to identify areas of friction, waste, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop a compensation technology roadmap in collaboration with business stakeholders and IT teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Ensure that the system meets the defined expectations of the business, driving consensus on solutions with both business and technical teams.
- Promote and drive Workday and Pave best practices, utilizing methods and tools to maximize platform value.
- Serve as a key point of contact for business and technical teams, ensuring the delivery of new technology solutions and enhancements meets business needs.
Qualifications:
- Experience in providing architectural consultation across various Workday modules and integrated solutions.
- Proven ability to define and implement best practices for system architecture and design within compensation planning and related enterprise business systems.
- Experience supporting all stages of the software development life cycle, including integration, configuration, data conversion, testing, and post-go-live support.
- Strong documentation skills, with the ability to identify and address areas for improvement in business processes and data architecture.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, advocating for technology that improves compensation programs.
- Experience with Workday and Pave platforms, including driving best practices and maximizing platform value.
