Viridan Group is working with a leading service provider for Renewable Natural Gas projects. The company builds and operates projects in the clean fuels and biogas space, a sector that the IEA projects to see 32% YoY growth for the next five years.
Their well-funded team has a 15-year history in Oregon. They've completed over 100 projects in the US, accounting for over 100 GW of renewable power.
The firm is looking for an Electrical Engineer to join their team in Central Oregon, or Denver, CO. This person will work closely with engineering, project, and operations teams to support the full lifecycle of clean energy projects.
Responsibilities
- Design and manage engineering drawings from development through construction.
- Develop and review electrical studies (coordination, grounding, lightning, arc flash, short circuit, coordination, etc.)
- Review and respond to contractor RFIs
- Oversee projects through commissioning and install
- Work with utilities and owners to ensure alignment on drawings and project specs
- Support company-wide safety, troubleshooting, and optimization processes.
Qualifications
- 4+ years in an engineering role.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, or relevant field.
- Experience performing electrical designs
- Proficiency with AutoCAD
- Familiarity with SKM Power tools and/or protection products and software is preferred
