Title: Senior Software Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and maintenance of our customer platform using modern JavaScript frameworks and Python, with a strong emphasis on implementing advanced analytics features and interactive data visualizations.
- Manage and optimize data infrastructure, cloud resources, and integration systems. This includes relational and non-relational databases, ETL/ELT pipelines, alerting systems, APIs, and Linux services.
- Implement and maintain observability tools to monitor system health, performance, and user experience across our entire stack.
- Drive best practices in code quality, security, and architecture. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions and mentor junior developers.
Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience developing complex, data-driven applications
- Practical knowledge of modern web architecture, including REST APIs, relational and non-relational databases, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS), networking concepts, and security best practices
- Demonstrated history of driving critical projects to completion through key individual contributions
- Experience in energy sector, fintech, or similar quantitative industry is a plus
