Responsibilities:
- Assist in leading all activities within the High Voltage Lab
- Developing and enforcing procedures and policies to create a safe operating environment
- Oversee and provide guidance to engineers and technicians during High-Voltage testing
- Continuously seek lab improvements and take control of software upgrades etc.
- lead and obtain ISO 17025 accreditation for the lab.
- Lead routine calibrations of lab equipment and update records
- Develop test plans, procedures and preventative maintenance programs
Requirements:
- 7+ years' experience directly related to Electrical Engineering, Testing or equivalent.
- Possess either a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering preferred) from accredited program
or institution, or a valid U.S. Professional Engineering License.
- Experience working within a High Voltage Lab with knowledge of standard practices and principals.
- Strong project management and planning skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to lead cross-functional team
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

We are looking for a High Voltage Test Engineer to join as subject matter expert and oversee a brand new, state-of-the-art High Voltage laboratory. You will play an instrumental role in acting as subject matter expert, assisting with laboratory set up, and overseeing all activities on a day-to-day basis.
The teams Power Delivery Group is currently constructing a new 17,000 square foot High Voltage Laboratory (HVL), and the associated Technical Support Building (TSB).
