Job Title: Senior Information Security Analyst
Job Summary: Under the direction of the Chief Information Security Officer and Manager of Information Security, the Senior Information Security Analyst will assist with planning, implementing, and maintaining the District’s information security program, including security administration, operations, risk management, education, policy and procedure development, and other related duties.
Essential Job Functions:
- Assist with daily operations and long-term planning for the Information Security Team.
- Assign and review service tickets, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
- Coordinate IT resources for secure solution implementation based on user requirements.
- Evaluate Information Security Analysts' performance and monitor work quality.
- Planned and conducted risk management programs and remediation.
- Promote information security awareness and enforce security policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or a minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experience; or a minimum of seven (7) years of relevant work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT or related field.
- Two (2) years of experience in a healthcare environment with one (1) year in a senior role.
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, SSCP, HCISPP, CAP, CISA, CISM, CGEIT, CRISC).
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of data networking, server architecture, data storage, and database administration.
- Familiarity with hardware, mobile devices, and layered security solutions.
- Understanding of HIPAA, HITECH, ISO 27001/27002, NIST, and PCI-DSS.
- Experience with vulnerability management and SIEM tools.
- Strong communication, organizational, and supervisory skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to read from computer screens and printed materials.
- Clear speech and hearing for communication.
- Manual dexterity for typing and equipment handling.
- Ability to lift to 25 lbs.
Work Environment:
- Indoor, sedentary work with moderate noise levels.
- Subject to schedule changes and variable work hours.
