Position Overview:
In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Azure cloud systems to design, develop, and maintain our cloud infrastructure. You will play a crucial role in migrating from on-premises solutions to the cloud, with a strong emphasis on cybersecurity and data governance. Key Responsibilities:
- Design & Development: Contribute to the design and development of cloud infrastructure frameworks, ensuring they meet high standards of scalability, security, and efficiency.
- Cloud Migration: Lead and support the migration of on-premises systems to Azure cloud environments, optimizing for performance and cost-effectiveness.
- Cybersecurity Focus: Implement and maintain security measures to protect cloud infrastructure and data, aligning with best practices and industry standards.
- Data Management: Oversee the management of data warehouses and data factories, ensuring seamless integration and efficient data processing.
- Support & Backup: Provide expert support and backup for the Info network security team, offering guidance and assistance as needed.
- Innovation & Initiative: Demonstrate initiative by proposing and implementing improvements to infrastructure and processes.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Azure-based cloud systems, including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS).
- Cloud Migration: Proven experience in transitioning from on-premises environments to cloud-based solutions.
- Cybersecurity Knowledge: Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices in a cloud context.
- Data Management: Experience with data warehouse and data factory solutions.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Azure services, tools, and technologies; experience with relevant scripting and automation tools is a plus.
- Initiative: Demonstrated ability to take initiative and drive projects to completion independently.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively within a small team, collaborating closely with other engineers and security professionals.
