River City Therapy Center (RCTC) is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide evaluation, treatment planning, and services for a diversity of pediatric and adolescent clients.
The Occupational Therapist will ideally be motivated and a self-starter, as this is a new department at RCTC with up to 14 in-center clients and the opportunity for additional outpatient clients. Experience working with clients receiving Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy is an advantage, but not required.

In 2024, we established Advancing Behavioral Solutions (ABS), a secondary name for the business, to better encompass our community work. Under this assumed name ABS, we have our Youth Rehabilitative Program in Goodhue County. The mission is to keep youth in their local community, home, and school through multisystemic therapy (MST).

Responsibilities
Complete standardized assessments, screenings, and observations
Make treatment recommendations for therapy frequency and intensity
Build and maintain a relationship with the client
Track data on client's goals
Document daily care, including progress, updates, and preferences
Communicate with caregivers on client's progress and provide training for continuity of care
Collaborate with other treatment team members, including coordination of care
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work & therapy environment
Maintain client confidentiality and dignity
Attend weekly team meetings & ongoing training

Requirements
Candidates must have a master's degree from an accredited college or university in Occupational Therapy
Candidates must be Licensed by the MN Department of Health
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Must pass a criminal and DHS provider background check
Reliable transportation
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
Frequent squatting, kneeling, standing, sitting, and walking
Ability to change body position quickly to ensure client safety
Schedule
Monday through Friday, clients are in center from 8am to 4pm.
Potential for moving to a 4 day work week after the department is up and running and adding in a COTA!

Salary
The starting payrate will be within the $65,000-80,000/year range, based on experience and education.
