Senior Authorised Person / HV Specialist – 10 month contract – USA - Outside IR35 – Offshore – ASAP start
I am looking for a WTG 66kV Senior Authorised Person. You will be responsible for Safety from the System and carrying out all duties associated with being a WTG SAP.
My client will consider 33kV SAPs or 66kV APs. Offshore experience is desired but not essential.
Requirements
- Previous authorisations at 33kV as a Senior Authorised Person, 66kV Senior Authorised Person or a 66kV Authorised Person
- Solid understanding of Electrical Safety
- Experience and understanding of a wind turbine
- Full GWO
- Competent Senior Authorised Person / HV Specialist
Responsibilities
- Carry out WTG SAP duties
- Issue safety documents and permits
- Cancellation of safety documents when works complete
- Operate compliantly under the clients safety rules
- Assist with the construction and commissioning of the turbines
- Liaise with the control room
- Report to the Lead SAP
- Issue limitation of access documents
- Switching at 66kV
- Writing and then implementing switching schedules
